DRAIN,
CLEAN, & REFILL

Every three months your spa should be drained,
cleaned, and refilled. Regular draining and cleaning is a normal part of spa maintenance.
Over time water absorbs and dissolves chemicals, minerals, and other Total
Dissolved Solids. When water looks dull, foamy, or starts to smell it's an
indication that Total Dissolved Solids in the water are high and the water
should be replaced.
DRAIN, CLEAN, & REFILLS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- The spa is drained.
- We clean the tub with a fast acting surface cleaner that removes tough water
lines and grease build-up.
- The
tub is rinsed, vacuumed, and wiped down with a towel.
-
The shell of the tub is waxed from the waterline to the lip of the tub to
protect the acrylic finish from chemical attack and fading from UV rays.
- The spa is refilled with fresh water.
- The
filter cartridge is cleaned with a spray on formula to remove oil, grease,
calcium, and scale formation.
- The
spa cover is cleaned with a heavy duty liquid UV protectant.
- The
operation of the tub is checked to make sure that the heater, pumps, blower, and
controls are working properly.
- The
water is shocked with a chemical that disinfects the water and kills any
bacteria.
